This page covers two things: what happens to the information you give us, and the limits of what a coach can do for you. Both matter, so both are here in plain language rather than buried.
Medical disclaimer
Hamza is a strength coach, not a doctor. Nothing on this website, in the free guide, in the assessment questions, on a call, or in any program we write for you is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment for any condition.
If you have pain or a condition that needs medical care, see a physician. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
The free guide starts with Hamza’s own health screening. If you answer yes to any of its questions, get your doctor’s approval before you start any physical activity in the guide.
The assessment questions ask whether you have numbness in both legs, any change in bladder or bowel control, or weight loss you cannot explain. Those questions are there because those findings need a doctor rather than a coach. If you tell us you have any of them, we will say so plainly and we will not book you onto a call until a physician has cleared you. That is not us being cautious for our own sake. It is the right answer.
Exercise carries risk, including the risk of injury. You take part voluntarily and you are responsible for deciding, with your own doctor if you have one, whether it is appropriate for you. Nothing here creates a doctor and patient relationship. We make no guarantee about medical outcomes. The results any individual client gets are their own and are not a promise of what you will get.
If you already work with a physician, physiotherapist, or surgeon, keep working with them. Tell Hamza about it, and tell them about this.
Who we are
The Hijrah Method is a coaching service operated by Hamza Aurangzeb. You can reach us at [email protected] for anything on this page, including a request to delete your information.
What we collect
If you ask for the free guide, we collect what you type into the form:
- Who the guide is for: you, your mother, your father, or another family member.
- Your first and last name.
- An age: yours, or theirs if the guide is for someone else.
- Your email address and your phone number.
- If you tell us, whether it is the knees, the back, or both.
We also note which link brought you to the page (for example the guide, Instagram, or one of our emails), so we know what is working.
If you answer the assessment questions, we collect what you type into them:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your answers about your pain: where it is, how long you have had it, what you have already tried, what you have stopped doing, and your answers to the safety screening questions.
- Your age, how soon you want to start, and what you are able to invest.
Some of that is information about your health. We ask for it because it is the only way to tell whether Hamza can help you and whether it is safe for him to try. You choose what to put in, and you can stop at any point before you submit.
If you book a call, the booking tool collects the time you chose and the details you confirm. If you become a client, we collect what you log in the coaching app as part of the program.
We never sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
How we use it
- To send you the free guide straight away, by download and by email.
- To send you a few short emails from Hamza over the next two weeks about using the guide. Every one of them has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them.
- To let Hamza check in with you personally, on WhatsApp or by phone, if you gave us your number.
- To decide whether we can help you, and to say so honestly either way.
- To contact you about your answers, your call, and your coaching.
Who else handles it
We are a two-person operation and we use ordinary tools to run it. Your information passes through these services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
- Google keeps guide sign-ups and assessment answers in spreadsheets in our own Google account, and sends our emails from Gmail.
- Tally hosts the assessment questions.
- Cal.com handles call bookings and reminders.
- Cloudflare hosts this website, the free guide and the exercise videos.
- If you message us on Instagram or WhatsApp, those apps handle the conversation. If you become a client, the coaching app holds your program and your logged sessions.
Analytics and cookies
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Tools embedded on the page, such as the assessment questions, may set cookies of their own that are necessary for them to work. Your browser may remember that you already have the guide, so the guide page can take you straight to the videos.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while there is a reason to: to send the guide and its follow-up emails, to follow up with you, or because you are a client. If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete it from the tools listed above, other than anything we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons. Ask at [email protected] and we will confirm when it is done.
Your choices
- Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct it or delete it.
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time, using the link at the bottom of any email. Or reply with the word STOP and we will take you off by hand.
- Withdraw from a conversation at any point. You are never obliged to book, and you are never obliged to buy.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights over your personal information. Write to us and we will honour them.
Children
This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has filled in one of our forms, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
